Matching

The matching page is used to set up the controls for the automatching of statement lines to transactions.

The matching setup is done in two steps, although it may be you do not have to add anything further than the default ones already installed.

The match codes are the actual parameters for the matching and the match sequence is the order in which these codes will be worked through.

This allows you to create a hierarchy of matching options from most controlled to least controlled in order to try and get a match.

Match sequences can also be applied to a specific apar id in the case that a particular supplier / customer needs some specific matching logic.
